General Membership

General Members are Filipinos or those of Filipino ancestry engineers or scientists residing in the U.S. or temporarily in other countries, who are graduates of at least a 4-year college degree in Engineering, Architecture or in the Biological, Physical, Quantitative and other Allied Sciences.

Special members are non-Filipino engineers or scientists with spouses of Filipino ancestry.

Honorary members are distinguished professionals, e.g. philanthropists, statesmen and high government officials, corporate officers, and the like, recommended by the President and approved by the Executive Board.  PESO First Ladies and Gentlemen qualify for membership under this Section. Honorary members are exempt from payment of membership dues.

Recipients of PESO Outstanding New College Graduate Award will be offered free lifetime membership in the organization upon receipt and approval of his/her application by the Membership Committee.

Members are entitled to receive a membership card and copy of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Organization.

Special and honorary members are entitled to the rights and privileges of the general membership, except that they cannot hold any position in the Executive Board nor may they be appointed as members of any Constitutional Committees.
